Habit: Terrestrial.

Habitat: Shrub, perennial.

Height:  1.5 m height.

Foliage: Leaves lanceolate, broad,

Flowers:  Inflorescence pendent, to 1m or more in length. Rachis dull red, soft pubescent. Basal part of bract and keel dull red, distal part of cheek to tip yellow. Flowers yellow.
