Key Botanical Characters          

Rhizome short creeping, scaly. Leaves bipinnate and two types. Petiole scaly, polished and yellowish or pale brown in colour. Leaflet progressively reduced towards apex. Fertile leaves smaller and lobed. Sori circular, yellowish-brown in two rows.
