Key botanical characters:
Small pseudobulbous epiphytes; pseudobulbs globose, usually in threes forming a chain. Leaves up to 3 x 0.6 cm, sessile, appearing usually before the flowers, persisting till fruiting, obovate-elliptic, glabrous, rounded, apiculate at apex, tapering at base. Flowers small in flexuous, dull white, capillary, bracteate scapes 3 - 6 cm long, arising from between the leaves; bracts boat-shaped. Sepals united, glabrous. Petals ovate-elliptic, shorter than sepals; lip falcate. Capsules to 5 x 2 mm, broadly ovoid.
