Botanical Characters :
Woody dioecious,
perennial climbers; tendrils simple or bifid, elongate. Leaves 8-22 x 4-12
cm, ovate-oblong, base rounded, apex acute, subcoriaceous, trinerved; petiole
4-11 cm long. Flowers small, males arranged in lax pendulous panicles,
females racemose. Male flowers: pedicels 4-5 mm long; sepals c. 2 mm long,
ovate, acute; petals upto 3.5 x 1.5 mm, oblong, obtuse, buff-coloured.
