Key
Botanical Characters:
Small
dioecious evergreen tree, up to 7-10 m tall. The bark is pale silver-brown,
smooth and shiny. Leaves
simple, opposite and aromatic. Flowers white, in panicles (pyramidal cymes) bloom
from the upper leaf axils. Petals 4, 3-4 mm long, stamens numerous. Fruits are
reddish-brown in colour. Fruit berry; seeds 2.
