Key Botanical Characters.

 Large shrub to small trees, branchlets terete, pubescent, bark whitish. Leaves to 6 x 4.5 cm, ovate-elliptic, chartaceous, 3-nerved from slightly above the base, crenate; petioles 1.5 cm, pubescent. Flowers yellow, 4 mm across; stamens many, disc extra-staminal, glandular, pistillode absent.
