Key botanical characters: .Climbers, branchlets
brown-tomentose. Leaves simple, opposite, ovate, apex obtusely acute, base
rounded, brown-pubescent below. Flowers in terminal or axillary panicled
cymes. Calyx lobes ovate, acute, pubescent. Corolla white, salver shaped,
contracted at mouth, hairy inside, throat densely white-villous, lobes
twisted, oblong, acuminate. Mericarps follicular, slender, rusty puberulus;
seeds many, compressed, crowned with long silky coma. |
