Key Botanical
Characters: An erect or climbing shrub upto 1.5 m tall.
Leaves obovate to spathulate, upto 6 cm long and 2.5 cm wide, apex obtuse,
base attenuate, glabrous beneath; petioles very short, dilated to form
rounded, amplexicaul, stipule-like auricles. Flowers blue-purple or
occasionally white; calyx 1-1.8 cm long, upper portion with glands; corolla
tube slender, delicate, upto 4 cm long. |
