enlarging in fruit, limb 5-lobed. Corolla purple, 1.5-3 cm across,
campanulate, often plicate, lobes 5, sparsely pubescent. Stamens 5; anthers
oblong. Ovules many; style stellately villous, linear; stigma capitate. Berry
smooth, variable in size, purple or greenish. Seeds minutely pitted. |
