Key
botanical characters : It is a
evergreen woody shrub 1-3 m tall, with young pubescent branches, triangular
stipules with pointed apex. Leaves opposite ,simple, lanceolate with pointed
apex, entire margin,covered by whitish tomentum below. Terminal inflorescence
with long peduncle covered by a whitish tomentum, roundish bearing numerous
flowers. Hypocrateriform corolla of
intense pink covered by whitish tomentum, obovate & wavy on the margin
lobes. The fruits are white globose capsule. |
