characters :
Erect
terrestrial herbs, to 30 cm high; stem pubescent. Leaves elliptic to obovate,
acute at either ends, 5-ribed from base, pubescent; petiole 1.2 cm long.
Spike slender, erect; peduncle 1-2 cm long; bracts orbicular, peltate with
white margins. Flowers distant. Nutlets obovoid to orbicular, acute, scaly. |
