Key botanical characters: This small medium sized, warm to hot growing epiphytic orchid is found in lower Burma at elevations around 120 meters with very narrowly conical, yellowish, angled pseudobulbs carrying 2 apical, elliptic or lanceolate, subacute leaves and blooms in the spring on a terminal, pendant or erect, 4" [10 cm] long, racemose inflorescence with 3 to 5, large, simultaneously opening, fragrant flowers arising on a mature pseudobulb.
