The plant is a large one and terrestrial species, with
ovoid or conical, green, fleshy pseudobulb and several large pleated leaves.
Leaves elliptic-lanceolate, acuminate, plicate, thin-textured, petiolate.
Inflorescence is a simple raceme which may attain 100cm in height, and bear
up to 30 large (10cm) Inflorescence more than 4' long, erect, basal, racemose
inflorescence.
