Key Botanical Characters:
Herbs,stem branched ,semiorbicular at base,quadrangular ,glabarous and green above;Leaves opposite decussate ,hairy mostly nerves above .   Flowers 2 or 3 per axil, 1-1.6 cm across, lilac to pink with violet throat; Capsules asymmetrically ellipsoid or lanceoloid to oblanceoloid, seeds globose, c. 0.5 mm, glabrous, shining, black to brown, funicle present.
