A weak decoction is used in fermentation used in skin dieases and ulcers.

Key botanical characters:
Perennial fragrant shrubs; stems terete, puberulus. Leaves oblong, acute; upper ones entire. Panicle axillary and terminal, leafy. Heads 3-4 mm long, globose; bracts 2.5 mm long, ovate-oblong, softly woolly, ciliate. Female flowers many; corollalong, white, narrow. Bisexual flowers 4-6; corolla long, broader, glabrous, connective of anthers mucronate. Achene long, oblong, glabrous.
